Dr. Reza studied medicine at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Reza is a highly experienced GP, with over 20 years in general practise in both Australia and Iran and extensive experience as a hospital and emergency medical practitioner in the Australian system.

Dr. Reza obtained a PhD in epidemiology at the University of Queensland in 2007 and has extensive academic and research experience in physical and mental health, with more than 70 publications in Australian and international journals.

Dr. Reza’s areas of interest include: chronic disease management (cardiovascular, diabetes, mental health, and respiratory health); weight management; emergency and trauma management; iron infusion; skin cancer and surgery; occupational health; general family medicine; and public health.
